Convention Time

So, it's convention time for me. ColossalCon 08. I'm excited... and terrified. This will only be my second convention. And it seems like it will be a lot bigger than the one I went to in February. Ah, Dear, being around that many people is rather upsetting to me.  ~_~; And I'll be upset if I don't find Morgan... which I won't, most likely. But I'm always upset when I go somewhere and don't find Morgan... even if it's less likely than this.

I did save up a lot of money this time, which is good, of course. Hopefully, I can get some more NANA stuff. (Plushies, posters, and strawberry glasses, pleeeease!) But probably not. Man, I'm just so positive about this, huh? HeH. Sorry. I'm also hoping to get a gift for Vivi's birthday. He wants something for his car. Hmmm.

So, I guess the English FullMetal Alchemist voice actors (Ed, Al, and Winry) are going to be at ColossalCon this year. Haha. I'm going to be totally too scared to talk to them. o.O; But my Mom said she'd go get their autographs.   Awww, Mommy. She's the greatest.

Well, anyways... I'm pretty much terrified. Mommy and I (and possibly someone else) are going on Saturday. Anyone else going? Probably not. But either way, anybody on schedule for any conventions this year? And if not... anything you want me to get you? (I mean my friends, of course. ^_~ )

Oh, really? I live in a little PA city very close to the Ohio line. The one I'm going to is in Cleveland. I wish I could go to ones you are, but... they're too far for me. ~_~; I will honestly get car sick just going to Cleveland. Ugh. But anyways.

Ooh, definitely not. That's like 3+ hours from here. ~_~; I'm sorrrrrry. Seriously, I am. I have like no anime friends around here. (Or just almost no friends in general, actually.) 'Tis lonely. :(

I'm sure they are... although, well... I'm not very good at meeting people. Too scared to talk to anyone. ~_~;

Haha. I guess that would make sense. ^_^ I'll probably wear Hachi inspired stuff, but nothing so revealing that anyone would notice me. Ah, well. ^_^

Heh.. I've only been to one convention, twice. The first year was with only one friend and it sucked because we were both too shy to ask for pictures, then the second time was even worse because we went with a huge group and were hellbent on staying together at all costs. >_>; That didn't work out so well. IIRC, I'm pretty sure we all wanted to kill each other by the second day.

But this is in Ohio? That's too bad! I'm over in the Pacific Northwest, so all I really have access to is Kumoricon and Sakuracon -- the latter of which I still haven't been to yet because I CAN NEVER GET TRANSPORTATION TO SEATTLE IN TIME. *bitch/moan*

I've never been able to find any real NANA merchandise at Kumoricon. Mostly jewelery that I know I'll never wear, among other accessories.. I did see a plush at one of my local stores, actually, the cheap felt kind? It was Nana O. Would've gotten it but then I realized I would have nothing to do with it.. XD; (Meanwhile, at the actual convention, I went crazy over finding a Happy Berry necklace and backpack. Despite both being cheaply made. I was too stoked to notice the quality.. >_> )

Aw, I'm sorry your convention experiences weren't so nice.

Yep, Cleveland, Ohio. It's the only one I'll be able to go to from now on because the one I went to in February is moving farther away next year. :(

Ah, I see. I got Nana's armor ring for my Nana. HeH. And the Ren padlock necklace/Nana key. Both at the convention I went to. They don't make a Hachi ring, but my Mommy got me a heart ring that looks like hers for my birthday. (I'm sooo obsessive.) That wasn't at the convention, though. Haha.

Ohio, Ohio.. I lived there for a while when I was younger. Toledo, I think. Can't remember much of it since I was somewhere in between one and four, but... Dad got a job transfer and we had to move up there. (Supposedly, my family went to Cedar Point at least once a month back then, but I can't recall a thing aside from little bits and pieces. Something about climbing into a tree with a slide in it and.. erm..)

But I'm rambling. Looks like you don't even live there. o_x; Are there really no cons in Pennsylvania? .. What's it like, anyway? I haven't done a ton of traveling on the east coast.

Haha. No, I live in a tiny city less than 5 minutes away from Ohio. I'm sure there are some in the bigger cities that are too far away from me. ~_~; I have problems with car sickness. The hour and 20 minutes it will take to get to Cleveland is even stretching it for me.

Oh, as for what it's like... I don't know if I'm the best person to ask. I pretty much don't leave the house. I've heard people say there are two seasons in PA, Rain and Snow. Hahaha. Silly, but anyways... we live next to a little woods. It's peaceful and pretty. And lots of animals visit us. ^_^
