Fragile Pieces

I've officially been writing the Magic Inc. series for nine years. So, the series is as old as Jane in the first book. Though it's actually been forming in my head for over twenty years. I lived and dreamed this story for eleven years before I even started writing it. Magic Inc. has been my shelter from the world. And I can't really imagine my life without this story. I'm still scared every single day to be sharing this shard of my soul with the world.

I know people like to take ownership of the stories they read and feel free to make judgements on what the author should or shouldn't have done. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion on any piece of art that has been put out into the world. There is always a place for thinking critically. However, the art you take in does not belong to you. Please remember that creative people are very often sharing a vulnerable part of their soul when they put their art into the world. Let's all try to be gentle with each other's fragile pieces.
