I know people like to take ownership of the stories they read and feel free to make judgements on what the author should or shouldn't have done. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion on any piece of art that has been put out into the world. There is always a place for thinking critically. However, the art you take in does not belong to you. Please remember that creative people are very often sharing a vulnerable part of their soul when they put their art into the world. Let's all try to be gentle with each other's fragile pieces.
