I went through the same thing when I was younger (I quit school in grade ten because of it only to go back as an adult later...I understand how it can break you in 'little' ways - make you doubt yourself and your abilities...)
You may have heard this before, but I can tell you from experience that you CAN move beyond this place in your life when you are ready to.
I still have relapses every once and awhile...thing is you have to look at those as random doors that have to be opened when you are ready to move through them.
My thoughts and hopes are with you, I know it will never be easy *hug*
Thank you very much. It honestly means a lot to me. I've... wanted to sit down and work on that for a long time. It was hard to start, but... Once I finally did, though, it was really easy. I honestly don't mind people knowing these things about me. And I'd rather just put it out there so people don't have to act weird when I tell them, say... oh, I go to therapy. I love her! I'm excited to go every week. Sometimes Jill and I talk about anime all session, for goodness sakes. Hehe. It just depends on what I need at the time. She really helps me.
I quit school in Grade 10 too, actually. But right now, I'm... okay with where I am. I'm finally spending some real time writing again. And that's what I want to focus on. If I get an opportunity to do my GED, I'll do it. But my writing is much more important to me.
