Pretty much if you know anything about me, it's that I'm a writer. Or it should be, anyways. I've been writing in the literal sense since I was 10, but I was making up stories long before then. It's the second most important thing in my life. (First being finding Morgan. <3 )

muse_murmers. "Murmers" because I've always been bad at spelling, stupid me. Oh, well... that's what editors are for. ^_^; Right?Anyways, the reason why I bring this up now is because my old Master Story Links post went and died on me. ~_~; I had to start it all over. Which was a decent little project, but I stupidly decided to turn it into a HUGE project. I reformatted all the old entries that were messed up do to my lazy copy-paste from Word and such. Found a decent simple layout with tag support built in. Then, with that, I went back and tagged all the entries... like I did here awhile ago. Matched all my stories with appropriate icons. And linked my Hate You, Hate Me entries together.
It was a three day project. I did take a break yesterday because I was starting to go crazy. But in the end, I think it was for the best... as long as I never have to do it again! ~_~;
Also the combination of reformatting HYHM and the recent Harry Potter movie has gotten me reinvigorated in fanfiction. During my day long break from the madness, I had to drop everything TWICE to write out some HYHM scenes. Well, one was for the sequel. HeH. But still. And I ended up with... 8 pages!! The most I've written at once since I can't remember. And though, I'm tired from finishing the community I feel the creative pull is still quite strong in me. ^_^

If you haven't heard, I'll tell you now. They are splitting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows into 2 movies.
I must admit to being furious, but apparently I'm in the minority from the looks of the comments on that news post. How on earth could they cut it? Why can't they just make one long movie? Yes, I want everything in it! But honestly, how can you cut the movie in two without it being terrible? I honestly don't know what is wrong with people, thinking this is a good idea. Maybe I'll have to apologize in MAY 2011 when the last movie comes out, but right now, I'm going along with one lovely comment I was able to find...
"I have mixed feeling about this. I would have liked one long movie but I seem to be in the minority. When I read the book I wondered how they were going to film all the important parts but I never considered a two part movie. I am a fan of long movies like Gone with the Wind and Titanic and could not fathom those movies being cut and shown 6 months apart. Also, a 2 YEAR wait just for part 1 2 ½ years for part 2-WHY? I wonder if it is scheduling conflicts with the actors. I just hope it works. What is funny to me also is that many of the people on here get so excited anytime there is new movie news then the movie comes out and it is –I hate the movie, I hate the director, I hate the screen writer, I hate the music, I hate the hair styles, where is Harry’s scar, they cut this, they should have never cut that, Ron was not book Ron, Hermione was this, Harry was that, my popcorn was stale, Blah,Blah,Blah I can’t wait to see the board after DH part 1 is out and everyone is tearing it apart like they have done with OOTP this past year and some that are already anticipating a bad HBP. Why did they stop it there, they should have done this, ETC…
I just want to skip 5 years for the announcement of Harry Potter:the miniseries. No, I'm seriously... that's what I've wanted almost from the beginning. Every single sentence from the books addressed with as much time taken as needed. Ah, yes... in a perfect world.
Well, what can I do? Please, please don't let it be horrible.

Look at me posting more than once in a week! Should we continue this trend, I wonder?
I'm still a bit too traumatized to make a large Deathly Hallows post. Maybe when my mother finishes the book, I'll read it over again completely. I've already read from The Prince's Tale on until the end again, and The Prince's Tale three times overall...
