Chapter 19 - The Silver Doe

This chapter is just beautiful. And I knew once that the silver doe was from Severus. Admittedly, I was searching like crazy for something to pop up, so perhaps that's why... but when I read about the doe I thought at once of Lily (from the James-stag connection) and then of Severus.

I like how it was Ron who destroyed the Horcrux, and I loved how it happened. There I go again with my cruelness. I thought it was lovely that Ron cried. It made me love him so. And the story about the Deluminator was so sweet.

Chapter 20 - Xenophilius Lovegood

This is one of the only titles I spotted when quickly flipping past the chapter titles pages. It caught my eye, I'm sure, because of my great love for Luna.

Random: Luna's earrings weren't actually radishes? HeH. Dirigible Plums? I’ll have to remember that one.

Chapter 21 - The Tale of the Three Brothers

The story was fascinating, of course... but what I loved about the chapter was the description of Luna's room. "friends... friends... friends..."

I was terrified that Luna was already dead.

Chapter 22 - The Deathly Hallows

Potterwatch makes me teary even the second time around. I don't know how I'll type through the last few chapters.

Chapter 23 - Malfoy Manor

More wonderful, horrible sadness. The life debt plays its part... And Dobby, poor, poor Dobby. :(

Chapter 24 - The Wandmaker

This chapter was extremely meaningful, not just because of what we find out, but because of the choice Harry makes. In fact several choices that Harry has made come into play. The fact that he freed Dobby so many years ago, for one. Harry's grown so much already in this book. Learning the things Dumbledore has set in place for him were for good reasons. This is important later when he must face that most difficult thing Dumbledore has left for him to do.

Chapter 25 - Shell Cottage

Of course, that doesn't mean he won't have doubts while left to wait and wonder.

I know, already, that I am not the only one to have realized the parallel of Harry as godfather and worry for Remus afterwards. With good reason, in the end.

And, with that, we head into the crazy last 24 hours of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows…

Malfoy Manor is really important too as it shows just how screwed that family is. Even Bellatrix is in a very precarious position here. Probably one of my favorite chapters in the book.

I had NO CLUE. I was trying so hard to figure it out. The gears just didn't click for me!

I like that it was Ron that destroyed it too. Partly because it affected him so much, and partly because it was a good way to sort of bring him further out of Harry's inevitable shadow. And when boys cry in books it always seems to be great.

I don't much like Luna's father. Ugh.

Luna's room. Made me cry, cry, cry. The image was so clear in my head, the movie better do it justice!!!

I thought she was dead too. I was like, "how could ANYONE kill Luna? Even JK, and death eaters..?"

Potterwatch may be my favorite thing in the book. It was..... words just don't really say how awesome it was.

I can't believe Dobby died. I mean, I can. But it was hard to accept...it was Dobby. He did so much for Harry.

Chapter 24 was hard for me, for some reason. It was almost too revealing for my little brain.
