"Thanks for helping us beta test! However, Key Quest is currently offline for maintenance, likely because you crashed our servers from all the load. It's okay. We forgive you. :P
The game will return soon. In the meantime, here are some fun things you can do while you wait:
- Get a haircut
- Eat a sandwich (sandwich not provided)
- Invade Mystery Island
- Go outside
- Build a lawyerbot
- Plant a tree (tree not provided)
- Take a nap
- Obey the Meepits (Meepits provided BEHIND YOU! Just kidding.)
Neopets is not responsible for any injures incurred while attempting any of the above tasks.
- The Neopets Team"
I seriously love TNT. They're so awesome. Anyways, I got to play Key Quest for a short time early yesterday morning. It seems like it has the potential to be lots of fun. It's a virtual board game for those who have no idea what I'm talking about. I've heard it compared to Mario Party a lot, but I can't agree... simply because I've never played it. They sound similar, though.
Neopets is a virtual pet site that I've been obsessed with for EIGHT YEARS. Very likely, if I'm not here... I'm there. (Or Giant Bomb, lately.) You should totally join. Well, I mean... if you think you'd like that sort of thing. I'm not nagging anyone. :P Haha.
Now, I best get my hair dry and go back to reading Half-Blood Prince. I've got a discussion today! ^_^ YaY!

The Neopets Team are still as witty and crazy as they ever were. <3 I still find it totally addictive. But I go in cycles, sometimes I'm really into it, and other times I only get for a few minutes on once every couple of days. But I've been there for so long... I'm in it for good. Hahaha.
Then again, I was never all for virtual pet sites in the first place. I tried out many, kind of settled on Subeta -- while it's nice and the community just generally seems more knowledgeable and welcoming, I can't get into it for very long. (That, and all of their games are java-based.. They say it's to lessen the amount of cheaters, but this means nothing like Destruct-O-Match. D: )
Of course, now that you bring it up, I might make another account. I'll just have to get real creative with the names this time. :P
But I used to have a BUNCH of Neo accounts and had the same thing happen with the birthday lock out. I'd made accounts for certain characters of mine... but just kind of made up a birthday. But I had them all on the neofriends of my main account, and I could see the ages from there. So I set about figuring the year from that... and just made educated guesses about the birthdays until just a few days ago... I got them all back. It was a lot of work. Now, I'm just closing them all up, sending the stuff to the couple of accounts I want to keep. Because... yeah, I had way too many. o.O;
Wow, that was a ramble. ~_~; I'm sorry. If you make another Neopets account, friend me! call_me_firefly. <3 ^_^
Anyway, I've never played Neopets (Runescape was my drug of choice, hell I still play it from time to time). As for the Mario Party thing...you're not missing much. The second one was the only good game in the series, and even then it was one of the dumbest games I've ever played (aside from Warioware, which makes Mario Party look like D&D in comparison)
Ah, really? Well, Key Quest still seemed fun from the little bit that I played. The beta board is awfully small, though... but i'm sure they'll make better ones.
